The hot air balloon drama is from a b&w image I found in one of those vintage boys' adventure books some time ago. I just added a colored pattern to the balloon and tinted the basket. I made the pattern myself, and it turned out great for creating an illusion of texture. Just fiddling around.

It's quite possible you could submit it to vox to be used by everyone. That would make it less exclusive, of course, but it's just a thought.
